In 2007 lead singer and lyricist John Volz, invited four friends to join forces to form what is emerging as one of South Jersey’s musical powerhouses. Songwriter/guitarist Jerry Gaffney, bass player Steve Gregory, guitarist/keyboardist Alan Finn and drummer Craig Trowbridge quickly agreed and the band went to work writing, performing and recording. With a resume that includes numerous albums, radio play, full time touring and thousands of concerts nationally and overseas, Negative Split is primed, ready and able to give their audiences what they expect – a show of musical excellence and lyrical integrity – something hard to find.
